CONGRATS Timmy!

Tim ran his first full Marathon today in a time of 4 hours and 36 minutes. It was the St. Louis Rock and Roll Marathon. He feels good, although a little sore from the run. Parker and I went down to watch him finish, along with our friends the Caseys. Sugar Ray was the end stage band playing, so we all got to listen to them.

Parker did not think waiting for daddy to finish the run was so much fun.

Pumpkin Patch

We took Parker to the pumpkin patch last weekend with some other friends and their kiddos. Parker had a blast running around like a crazy kid. Above is us on the hay ride and below is Parker actually being cooperative for a picture with the pumpkins.

Parker and Baby Brayden

Our friends Dan and Lauren came over for dinner Friday night with their new little guy, Brayden. Parker absolutely adores baby Brayden and is all over the poor little kid. He gave Brayden hugs and kiss, and would go up to him and tickle him. Parker even loved his baby car seat, and decided he needed to sit in it and play in it. Brayden was born May 8, so he is exactly two years and a few days younger than Parker.
Oh yeah, Parker even held baby Brayden. This is his first time holding a baby all on his own, and he was a champ at it!

Parker's Birthday Party

Opening his first present.
Getting ready to sing Happy Birthday.
He got his Buzz Lightyear and Woody toys and couldn't have been happier!
Yeah! He got a turtle sandbox from Aunt Susie, Uncle Ron, and Hopie. I had the same one as a kid.

Easter

Some Randoms

One afternoon, Parker kept pulling his bibs out of the drawer and insisting I keep putting them on him, until he had all the clean bibs we had on. This is the result.
Double Trouble!
Goofing around.
Playing with daddy.

Back Splash

Tim and I had our back splash put in in the kitchen finally this past weekend. This is the view of the side of the kitchen.
Here is the main part.
...and here is the rest of it.

Parker Update

He is finally starting to actually look at the camera once in a while and say "cheese" to me! Granted, he has his milk cup dangling from his mouth, but hey, it is a start.
I was watching our neighbor's eight year old daughter on Friday, and Parker snagged her DS. He just liked pushing the buttons. This expensive little toy kept him entertained for quite some time.

Reading with daddy.
Some days the weather is actually nice enough to go outside and play in.
Blowing bubbles with daddy. He loves to have the bubbles floating over, and then he likes to say "Pop! Pop! Pop!" which he got from one of his Sesame Street books.
Where's Parker?
Peek-a-boo! Here he is!

Graceland

I have been wanting to go check out Graceland for a while now. Since we are only about five hours away, Tim and I decided to go a few weekends ago. So, we left Parker with our friends the Caseys overnight, and headed on over to Memphis. We stayed at the Heartbreak hotel, and toured entire mansion, which wasn't as big as I expected, and got to see all things Elvis. There was a car museum dedicated to his cars, and fashion museum with all of his clothes, and his two planes were open for tour. It was a pretty neat tour, something I can now check off my bucket list for sure.
It was insane the amount of gold and platinum records Elvis has received. There were walls upon walls lined with them, and he is still receiving them since his records are still selling.
In front of the famous pink caddy!

A few randoms...

Parker likes to climb in the lego bucket, but refuses to let the milk cup go.

He likes his sit and spin, but still has some trouble figuring it out.
Here he is pushing his toy. Notice the milk cup dangling from his mouth...anyone noticing a trend with Parker and his milk cup?
I just couldn't resist taking a picture of this cutie pie!

The Zoo

Last week, a few of the neighbors, Parker, and I all went to the St. Louis Zoo. I have now learned that I will become a member there, because Parker loved it so much. His favorite part was the children's zoo, but he enjoyed the other parts as well, especially the Primate House. He loves monkeys! He also liked seeing all the turtles and snakes in the reptile house. If you ask him what the snake does with his tongue, Parker will stick his tongue in and out.
This is when Parker saw his first big animal of the day. I believe it was the rhinos.
Playing on the jeep with Hayden in the children's zoo.
Petting the guinea pigs.
All tuckered out from a hard day of playing at the zoo.

Papa, Papa, Papa!

Tim's parents came to visit a few weeks ago, and Parker was all about Tim's dad. Although we referred to him as Grandpa Ron, Parker quickly decided he was going to call Ron Papa. So, Papa it is! Tim and I got a kick out of Parker and Papa playing together, and how Parker would just crawl right up next to Papa at the dinner table. I love the above picture, because you can see the smile on both of their faces as they were playing with the train.
Parker loves reading books! Here he is reading with Papa, but he also had several books that grandma read him as well.
Tim, his parents and Parker.
One of the many times Parker crawled up next to Papa to eat.

Warmer days...for how long?

Parker got his first new pair of sunglasses, and loves them!
Grandma Bonnie got him this fancy new picnic table. He is in love with having a Parker size table to sit at.
One of many days we have now gone to the park.
Hanging with daddy for a little break on the bench.
The snow/ice was his favorite part of the whole trip to the park. He insisted on constantly holding some chunk of snow/ice in his hands the entire trip.

The slides were one of his favorites.
Working on letters with his blocks with daddy.
