Parker was the most adorable little monkey tonight. We took him out trick or treating with our neighbors tonight. We hit about six houses of people we knew just to show him off and he did fairly well.

New Things
Before I give my update, I must say that the above picture is a Timmy face if I do say so. I have had that same look given to me by Tim a number of times. It's that "huh, what did you say/want?" look that Tim has. Anyways, now onto Parker. Parker has made great progress in the last few days. He finally rolled over tonight! He did it twice for me, but would have nothing to do with it when I brought him down to Tim. He continues to love to stand, and started standing with our help at the ottoman. He likes to stomp his feet, which makes it seem like he is walking, because his body moves, but he is really just stomping his feet. It is pretty cute. Sitting up is starting to come. He can sit on his own , but still is a little tipsy, so we have to sit close by to help him if he starts to fall. Last, which is the thing we laugh at the most is that he loves his tongue. He likes to lick at all sorts of things, especially the harness on his stroller/car seat/and high chair. The high chair has been used a few times just to have him sit in while we eat dinner. We'll start rice cereal here in a few weeks, so he'll be getting a lot more use out of the high chair then. That about sums up Parker for the week. :)

Pumpkin Patch
We took Parker to the pumpkin patch this weekend along with our friends the Caseys, who took their kiddos Ainsley and Hayden. There is a patch close to our house that has all sorts of neat things for kids to do. Parker participated in a few things. We took him on a hay ride and through the corn maze.

Florida
Parker and I got back from Florida yesterday. We went down there to meet my mom since she needed to go down there to help out my aunt with some stuff with moving my grandma to an assisted living facility. I am so glad we made it down there since my grandma is getting rather forgetful. Parker is also her first great-grandbaby, and boy did she adore him. Parker sure loved his great-grandma as well. I really enjoyed watching the two of them interact with each other. Parker also had his first trip to the beach. He was liking it until I wasn't paying attention and let a wave get us. Oops! He wasn't so happy then, but he eventually got over it.
My cousin Elyse's boyfriend Chris brought us over this lobster he caught. The thing was almost as big as Parker!

5 Months
Today is Parker's five month birthday. I can't believe he is that old already! The time has definitely flown by. As you can see from the picture above, he had a really exhausting day today. :) Parker continues to love to suck his thumb when he is getting tired. When we put him down for naps or bed, the thumb goes straight into the mouth. I am losing the battle of the thumb. He is also starting to grab at his toys during tummy time, and continues to LOVE his exersaucer. Tomorrow, Parker and I are heading to Florida to spend a week with my mom and her side of the family. I am hoping to take him to the beach for the first time.

Day with Daddy
Today was my Saturday to work, so Parker spent the day with daddy. He had a lot of fun. Tim got the baby jogger out of the basement, since Parker is now big enough for it and took him for a spin around the neighborhood. He apparently was making baby noises for a good chunk of the time. After work, I went shopping with my friend Stacey, so Parker spent even more time with daddy.
