The Lake Part 3

Parker swimming with daddy.
Going for his first jetski ride ever. The kiddo was holding a cracker in his hand when he got on the ski, and ten minutes later, was still holding the cracker when he got off it. He had a fun time though.
Hanging out with his friend Audrey.

Haircut

Parker was very excited about his new pants I got him for his trip to Grandma Bonnie's. I was showing Tim them, and each time I pulled a pair out of the bag, Parker reached up and took them from me. Then, he say and played with them for a while. Aww, the things that entertain a 15 month old.
Parker loves when daddy throws him up in the air and catches him. He squeals this adorable little squeal and smiles so big. I love it!
I just love his little conductor overalls.
Parker had his haircut today and was a very good boy for the hairdresser. He got to watch Elmo and sit in an airplane while she was cutting his hair. Isn't his haircut cute?

New Things

This is Parker's new favorite fun position. He gets in this "V" and then just looks at us.

Parker has discovered popsicles. He wasn't so sure at first...
...and he started to kind of think about it some more...
...but decided that it was yummy and daddy wasn't getting it back.
We are trying to get Parker to eat his snacks out of a bowl. He is doing okay with this, but half the time they end up all over the place.

Mr. Busy Pants

Reading with daddy.
Everything these days is a phone. Luckily, he is holding a toy phone here, but his piece of pizza the other night became a phone as well.
Finally figuring out how to ride his giraffe.
Parker says "Go Gators!!!"
Someone loves the tupperware cupboard.

15 Month Check

Parker had his fifteen month check today. He was crazy busy and into everything at the doctor's office today. He is still growing big and healthy, and has amazingly slimmed down somewhat, but still continues to grow taller like a weed. After we were done with the well baby check, Tim and I had to take him down to the lab to get blood drawn to make sure all his nutrient levels are where they should be. Here are his stats from today:
  • Weight: 25 lbs 8 ounces (he actually has lost weight since we last visited, and is now in the 69th percentile)
  • Height: 33 inches even (94th percentile)
  • Head: 88th percentile, down from the 90th
More pictures to follow when I am not so tired. Please keep scrolling down. I tried to make up for some of my blog slacking over the last month and put a few new postings on today. :)

Lake Trip #2

Parker attacking Kelly. One of his favorite things to do.
Parker always seems to be after Kelly's beer.
Parker was really not happy about having to put on his life jacket. He has such a mean mommy who makes him anyways.
Stacey and me drinking a yummy and cold drink...it was freaking hot that day!
Kelly and me at dinner.
Parker and daddy on the boat.

Uncle Kelly's Visit

Parker just loves his rocking chair. It was my Uncle Bruce's (my mom's older brother) when he was a kid. It was given to him by his grandmother. It was at my grandma Rose's house when I helped my mom clean some of it last fall, and asked if I could have it for Parker.
My brother Kelly came to visit for a few weeks. Parker adored his Uncle Kelly. They became quick buddies, and Parker was very sad when he couldn't find Kelly in the office, or the guest room after he was gone.
Parker loves to have milk out of his sippy cup now. He will only use the kind with a straw. He thinks he is too good for the kind you actually have to tip up and sip out of.
This is Nona reading to Parker. Nona is my friend Stacey's mom who was visiting from Connecticut.
Parker liked to help Kelly with his computer stuff. He became a pro at banging on the keys.
Kelly crawled through Parker's house and then had it high centered. Parker thought that was pretty cool, after looking at Kelly with a questionable face.
My good friend since we were four, Karissa showed up for a weekend in July on her way home from a business trip in Chicago. It was great to catch up with her.

We were very Hoosier one day, and set up all our kiddie pools in the backyard of Stacey's house. There was also a slip and slide made out of tarps. Yes, I participated.
Parker, shockingly enough left Kelly's shades on his head for a few minutes. We have a picture of Parker in these same shades when he was three months old. Sadly, we will not be able to keep the tradition up, as the shades were swept off Kelly's head at the lake.
Parker has Kelly's phone. If you want to become Parker's best friend, all you need to do is give him your phone. :)

Grandma Gail's Visit

Tim's mom Gail came out to visit in July for a long weekend. Parker had a fun time entertaining her with all of his tricks.

We took Gail down to Old Town St. Charles for lunch and to let Parker run off some energy during one of the days.
