Back Splash

Tim and I had our back splash put in in the kitchen finally this past weekend. This is the view of the side of the kitchen.

Parker Update

He is finally starting to actually look at the camera once in a while and say "cheese" to me! Granted, he has his milk cup dangling from his mouth, but hey, it is a start.

I was watching our neighbor's eight year old daughter on Friday, and Parker snagged her DS. He just liked pushing the buttons. This expensive little toy kept him entertained for quite some time.

Some days the weather is actually nice enough to go outside and play in.

Blowing bubbles with daddy. He loves to have the bubbles floating over, and then he likes to say "Pop! Pop! Pop!" which he got from one of his Sesame Street books.

Graceland

I have been wanting to go check out Graceland for a while now. Since we are only about five hours away, Tim and I decided to go a few weekends ago. So, we left Parker with our friends the Caseys overnight, and headed on over to Memphis. We stayed at the Heartbreak hotel, and toured entire mansion, which wasn't as big as I expected, and got to see all things Elvis. There was a car museum dedicated to his cars, and fashion museum with all of his clothes, and his two planes were open for tour. It was a pretty neat tour, something I can now check off my bucket list for sure.
It was insane the amount of gold and platinum records Elvis has received. There were walls upon walls lined with them, and he is still receiving them since his records are still selling.
